11th Annual World Open Innovation Conference 2024 

The World Open Innovation Conference (WOIC) is where academia, industry, and policy makers meet. WOIC fosters cross-sector collaboration, explores open innovation trends, and showcases groundbreaking research and practices.  

The 2024 Conference theme, “Open Innovation and Emerging Technologies” explored the synergy of diverse stakeholders in enhancing value. 

EINST4INE ESR Gianlorenzo Meggio and supervisors Henry Chesbrough and Agnieszka Radziwon,  as well as Justyna Dabrowska attended the conference in Berkeley, California. 

In addition, ESR Gianlorenzo Meggio was the runner-up of the Henry Chesbrough Best Student Paper Award at the 2024 Annual World Open Innovation Conference for his paper on “Balancing public and private value capture: the case of a U.S. social venture”.
