The theme of the 2024 edition of EURAM was “Fostering Innovation to Address Grand Challenges”.
Technological innovation has always been a significant enabler of value creation, improved competitiveness, and economic growth. It has also contributed to the taming of the impact of long-standing Grand Challenges, most notably, ageing society, environmentally unsustainable economic growth and health impacts of climate change. The 2024 edition of the EURAM Conference aimed at fostering innovation to tackle such challenges.
ESRs Constanze Leeb (UCAM) and Alejandra Rojas (AU) attended the annual conference in June 2024. In addition, Alejandra Rojas has been the recipient of the “Relevant and Reponsible Research” award with her paper titled “Organizing Service Robots in Healthcare: An inquiry on the Design, Development, and Implementation Practices” at this year’s Doctoral Colloquium.
